Outreach Visit Ref: EVGOUT Our donkeys love to visit residents of day care centres, nursing and residential homes, they are warmly greeted by staff and residents alike whose faces light up when they see their four legged friends walk into communal lounges, or even, in the case of less mobile residents, into their bedrooms! Everybody enjoys these special visits, from most able bodies to the frailest or most withdrawn resident. It is amazing to see the residents interact with the donkeys and it is amazing how many of them have tales to tell of encounters with donkeys at some time in their lives. Many recall donkeys being used on farmland when they were children or memories of long ago holidays when they, or their children, rode donkeys on the beaches.
